About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Technical Lead at ECA International to join us on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to come into the office at least twice a month. The successful candidate will be proactive, hands-on technical leader, demonstrating a wealth of experience in C# (.NET Core) & React.

 

As well as this, you will be experienced in driving technical direction, culture & ways of working within an engineering team, having a passion about technology with a deep understanding of people management.

 

You’ll have experience building front-end applications and back-end APIs, picking the right tech-stack for the job and putting in place the tooling for top-notch DevX. You’ll strive to help the team produce well-tested code, that’s easy to understand, maintain and deploy. 

 

Beyond coding, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in nurturing a self-managing, high performing development team. This responsibility extends to participating in interviews, mentoring existing developers and fostering agile methodologies. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to take stories from an idea through to a Jira ticket that’s ready for a developer to pick up. You’ll be able to clearly communicate the priority of technical tasks and work with product managers to build out a prioritised backlog. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • Extensive experience in .NET Core, C#, React, and other relevant technologies. 
  • Experience leading agile development teams 
  • Previous experience in founding and building development teams is desirable 
  • Ability to build good working relationships
  • Good communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
