The Capital team owns an exciting domain at Toast - enabling restaurants to thrive through access to funds. Our team owns the entire life cycle of a loan - from lead generation, through application, evaluation and collection. We operate as a lean startup within the larger organization. The technologies the team interacts with day to day are AWS, Java/Kotlin, DynamoDB/Postgres, Node.js and React. We run Scrumban as our agile development process.

This role provides the opportunity to lead within a fast growing domain at Toast. This role blends technical aspects like backend and frontend development with business leadership. In this role you will work closely with the Product Managers and business partners to enhance our existing offerings and build brand new products.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
