What are you going to do?

● Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX to design and build solutions that delight users and solve critical business problems
● Work up and down the stack to ship code for our Rails backend and our React frontend, and dive deep into the database layer to handle complex querying needs
● Responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on work progress.
● Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt and work independently.
● Responsible for code reviews and delivery of high-quality maintainable code.
● Use a customer-centric approach to make architectural design decisions
● Have a significant impact on projects affecting scalability, performance, and new value delivery
● Identify large technological issues and opportunities in your area of responsibility, and work with your team to solve these issues

 

What will help you succeed

  • Proficiency in Ruby programming language.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Ruby on Rails framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of front-end development with Next.js or React.js.
  • Ability to develop full-stack applications from concept to deployment.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
