The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for building client UIs in pre-sales POCs as well as designing UI/UX best practice guidelines to showcase the best of Unqork while overseeing the quality of work from other front-end engineers. This position will report into the Sales Engineering team.

The Impact U will make:

You will work on multiple simultaneous POCs across Insurance, Financial Services, and Public Sector to showcase the best UI/UX designs for our Go To Market motions
You will work with the Sales Engineers to discuss levels of effort, set expectations and implement our client's branding and design systems
You will report and escalate development issues or blockers to management
You will develop an understanding of the Unqork platform and how to achieve desired customer designs. You will support in POC project scoping and ensure technical feasibility as it relates to UX/UI design implementation within the Unqork platform. You will oversee the quality and efficiency of work for other engineers
You will assist in establishing and upholding development best practices

What U bring:

4+ years of experience in Front-end Engineering and a love to build front-end applications and focus on the end-user experience
Background in front-end development and can bring UI designs to life using HTML and CSS
You have led the development of multiple web applications and understand the level of effort required to execute in a timely fashion
You will work in a remote-friendly, collaborative environment with the Unqork Sales Engineering team, UX Designers and other Front-end Engineers.
Knowledge of Angular/React and JavaScript
Experience with ADA/Accessibility and Compliance
High level understanding of UX/UI design processes
You are willing to guide internal and client teams through an array of approaches to solve a design / layout problem
You are an educator. You love to show and tell, and share best practices with internal team members and partner groups. You have experience managing other engineers and acting as a mentor
You are creative and have an eye for detail. You can review existing designs and provide insightful feedback and recommendations on the designs
You can read between the lines: using your creativity to bring great designs when some requirements are unknown

The US base salary range, across all Unqork US locations, for this full-time position is $118,900 - $169,800 + bonus + equity + perks/benefits. An individual employee’s salary within the range provided above depends on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the working location, role, skillset and level of experience of such employee.
