The Role
We’re looking for a mid-level software engineer with strong experience in React Native, React, and Python to join on a part-time contract basis (~20 hrs/week). You’ll be working alongside our CEO, U.S.-based project manager, and a distributed team to deliver real client projects that ship to production.

What You’ll Do
• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
• Implement clean, maintainable frontend features in React
• Develop and extend backend APIs with Python (Django/FastAPI)
• Collaborate closely with our PM and QA to deliver on client milestones
• Work async-first, with some EST overlap for meetings and reviews

What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Production experience with React Native + React
• Backend development experience in Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask)
• Strong Git/GitHub workflow knowledge
• Clear communicator, self-starter, and reliable under deadlines

Bonus Points
• Experience integrating Stripe, RevenueCat, or other payment APIs
• Familiarity with AWS or Docker deployments
• Mobile app store submission experience

Compensation
• Contract role: $55/hour (20 hrs/week to start)
• All work is remote, but EST overlap is required
• Opportunity to scale hours and rate as projects grow
