Visibly ✌️

Death by PowerPoint remains the primary method of education for deskless workers across the globe, and we have a unique opportunity to redesign education from the ground up for over a billion deskless workers.

Our team is on a mission to make high-quality education available to a billion deskless workers with a vastly improved user experience that's massively more accessible, effective, and enjoyable—and that's where you come in!!

You'll play a pivotal role in the evolution of our product, make architectural decisions and actively contribute to our code base.

Working alongside three experienced engineers and a UX designer, you'll have the autonomy to drive technical, product and workflow innovation.

Teams are managed from within and report directly to the Head of Engineering, so you'll be working alongside your manager to solve technical problems.

In early 2024, we raised one of Europe’s strongest seed rounds from tier 1 investors. And now, our highest priority is building a team that pushes each of us to do our very best work and cares intensely about delivering value to customers.

What you'll be up to 🚀

  • Take technical ownership of our web / Javascript-based projects and demonstrate best practices by example
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and mentor the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Translate designs into high-quality code that runs smoothly and securely on a variety of devices and platforms
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest development trends and technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail

Sounds like you? 🙌

Experienced: You’ve learned from and worked with exceptional people, preferably in a high-growth environment (start-up).

Strives for excellence: Extensive proficiency with React and associated technologies (APIs, Redux, Websockets etc) plus a strong understanding of TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

Thrive in ambiguity: You'll often work from scratch with limited data to drive decisions. You take a first-principles approach and ask yourself, what's possible?

Methodical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: You are comfortable and confident sharing your thoughts verbally or written. You can engage constructively in debate and discussion with your colleagues and peers.

Collaboration: You’re keen to learn other technologies to support the team. You have experience communicating with technical and non-technical people to drive discovery and decisions.

Quality, quickly: You value the details and nuances of your work and deliver them quickly.

Valued behaviours 👏

Customer obsession: We start with what’s best for the customer and make it a reality.

Ambition: We insist on moving fast, delivering excellence, and we inspire others to raise the bar.

Integrity: We act with good intent, speak plainly and respectfully.

Courage: We are open to failure, make tough decisions and challenge directly.

In-person culture session (TBC)

We will run a half-day session alongside our lead investor, Creandum, for truly outstanding candidates. As you progress through the process, you will receive more information.
