What we’re looking for:

In our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Voice Platform team! The Voice Platform team enables restaurants to handle customer phone calls no matter how many customers are calling in at the same time. This allows these mom-and-pop businesses to scale past their staffing limit and fulfill their customer’s orders on time, every time.

What You’ll Accomplish:

You will be working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you will always be learning.
You will be solving real business needs by turning product ideas into engineering solutions.
You will be participating in every step of the product development process with an open and curious team.
You will be partnering with product, design, infra, and other stakeholders to advance the product vision, iterate on customer feedback and lead the expansion of Wonders into new verticals.
You will be metrics and data-driven and thinking creatively to help Wonders scale and prepare for the new verticals we will enter.
You will be helping to establish and influence engineering processes, tools, and systems that will allow us to scale the code base and accelerate product velocity.
You will actively collaborate with other leaders to source and recruit the best talent for Wonders.

About you:

You have 5+ years of tech experience.
You have experience with server side programming languages such as Go, Python, C++, etc.
You are a team player who can also work independently and be proactive.
You have proven technical leadership in shipping great products, hands-on engineering, and leading critical projects to production.
You have strong product sense and intuition
You are passionate about building great user experiences and achieving real-world impact

Bonus points:

You have achieved BS / MS / Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.
You have familiarity with or desire to learn our tech stack which includes, but is not limited to: AWS, Kafka, MySQL, etc.
You have experience building products from 0 to 1 in an unstructured environment.
You have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.
