About Our Client:

The client is an early-stage startup developing an app that aggregates and delivers multi-channel content from sources like Reddit, X, and news platforms into a unified system. They are currently focused on building the MVP, prioritizing the frontend experience.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will primarily focus on the frontend (70%), crafting an intuitive and high-performing user interface using React.js and Next.js, while also contributing to the backend (30%) using Python (Django) to support API integrations and data handling. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to shape the product’s technical direction, have ownership over core development decisions, and grow with the company.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize a high-quality frontend experience using React.js and Next.js.
• Implement dynamic and interactive UI components to enhance content presentation and user engagement.
• Ensure responsive design and smooth performance across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to pull in content from multiple sources.
• Contribute to backend development (Python) for API development and data processing.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to refine UX and functionality.
• Optimize performance, SEO, and loading speeds to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, following best practices.

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

• Expertise in React.js and Next.js, with experience building interactive and responsive UIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on performance optimization.
• Strong experience with Python for backend development, including API design and data processing.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and handling third-party data sources.
• Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in both frontend and backend.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Availability to work on PST time zone.
