Our mission is to recreate offline shopping experiences online - but better. Zowie brings speed and empathy to customer interactions. Our platform automates responses to repetitive questions around return policy, order status, etc., and saves time for customer service agents, who can then proactively turn website visitors into paying customers. It can work as an add-on with existing tools (Zendesk, Shopify, Gorgias, etc.) or become a standalone customer service platform.

What you'll do:

Zowie is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Frontend Engineer to join our newly-formed Growth Team, led by one of our visionary Co-Founder - Maciej Ciołek.

Our latest initiative, the Zowie Growth Team, embodies this spirit of innovation and disruption.

As a member of the Zowie Growth Team, you will be at the forefront of our innovation efforts. Our primary mission is to explore new product ideas in collaboration with our customers, striving to understand their needs and uncover the business value behind these ideas. Once we've uncovered the potential, we'll pass the torch to the respective teams to turn these prototypes into well-adopted products.

The Zowie Growth Team plays a pivotal role in the success of Zowie as a whole. Our ability to innovate and rapidly test new ideas not only keeps us ahead of our competitors but also ensures that we continue to provide cutting-edge solutions to our customers. In recent months, we've spearheaded the adoption of Generative AI, resulting in groundbreaking products such as the X2 - the GenAI X2 engine for e-commerce and Zowie Salesbot - conversational AI to answer product specific questions.


Ideally, you'll bring with you:
  • Excellent coding skills and passion for growing expertise
  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development using React and TypeScript
  • Great knowledge of HTML5, and CSS3
  • Product acumen, ownership, and focus on value delivered for the customers
  • Excellent coding skills and passion for growing expertise
  • Working proficiency in English
  • “better done than perfect” approach to solutions you’re working on
  • Being open to constant changes in project scopes and shifting priorities

It will be awesome if you have:
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with Docker Swarm / Kubernetes
