About the role

The Senior Innovation Engineer turns customer business problems into working demonstrations in short build cycles and owns prototypes from concept and architecture through deployment. The role is highly hands-on and also improves the reusable system used to build future demos.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of interactive demos and use cases, typically moving from concept to live prototype in one to two weeks.
• Build React/TypeScript frontends, Python Lambda backends, and CDK infrastructure with AWS AI/ML services such as Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Design serverless architectures that are inexpensive when idle and reliable during executive walkthroughs.
• Create immersive, responsive, touchscreen-aware interfaces with streaming AI responses and narrative-driven flows.
• Build reusable templates, component libraries, CDK stacks, Lambda utilities, and shared patterns.
• Evaluate emerging AWS AI, multimodal, agentic, and infrastructure capabilities and integrate them into demos.
• Maintain demo environments, monitoring, automated recovery, security compliance, and access controls.
• Partner with AWS service teams, specialists, professional services, and partners.

Qualifications

• Extensive technology-domain, software development, cloud, architecture, or implementation experience.
• Experience designing and delivering applications and infrastructure.
• Strong practical software-building skills and ability to work directly with end users or developer communities.
