Java Developer (Full Stack)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our investment technology project. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React, while working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java Spring Boot on the backend and React UI on the frontend.

  • Build and support microservices-based architectures and develop RESTful APIs to support business and investment workflows.

  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, including writing and maintaining automated test cases using established testing frameworks.

  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance with strong attention to detail.

  • Use GitHub for version control, code management, and collaboration across teams.

  • Participate actively in agile delivery cycles within a dynamic and high-performing development team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer.

  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

  • Solid experience in developing RESTful APIs.

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and test case development.

  • Proficiency in React UI for frontend development.

  • Strong working knowledge of GitHub for source control.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with Akka Actor
    Experience with containers, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with MS SQL databases.
