Lead Front-End Developer React & Next.js (Full-Stack Mindset)

Location: Atlanta, GA (On-site) Locals only

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead or Staff-level Front-End Developer with deep expertise in React.js and Next.js, who brings a full-stack mindset to front-end development. This role demands a hands-on technologist who can contribute from day one, guide best practices, and integrate seamlessly into the client s agile team.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, build, and maintain performant web applications using React and Next.js
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
Work closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth API integration and data flow
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards
Understand backend infrastructure to make informed decisions about front-end architecture
Evaluate and improve application performance and user experience
Drive sprint-level planning and contribute to roadmap alignment with business needs

Required Skills:

12+ years of professional software development experience
8+ years hands-on with React.js
5+ years experience with Next.js
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
Excellent understanding of component-based design and state management
Familiarity with backend integration (REST APIs, BFF architecture)
Experience leading Agile teams or client-facing engineering squads
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
