About the role

This Full Stack Application Development engineer builds the tools that Foundry users use to create sophisticated applications. The work centers on approachable, data-intensive user experiences and the APIs, schemas, state-management patterns, and shared components behind them.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop interfaces for complex data-driven workflows.
• Design state-management and data-access patterns that remain powerful while being understandable to users.
• Build reusable frontend components and application-development tooling using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and related technologies.
• Own APIs and schemas that support frontend product experiences.
• Interview users, identify product gaps, prototype solutions, and iterate based on real operational needs.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams and own features through production.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals and product judgment.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, CSS modules, APIs, and modern frontend build/test tooling.
• Comfort working with complex data models and highly interactive applications.
• Ability to communicate with users and translate ambiguous workflow needs into product architecture.

Compensation

US base salary: $135,000 – $200,000.
